Synchrony has teamed up with UKG to offer us a more robust time keeping software. The new software will be a much more user friendly interface with more capabilities than the current SwipeClock software offers. For instance, you will be able to request PTO through your UKG dashboard vs Synchrony, see your PTO requests on your schedule, make time adjustments for missed punches yourself, and we will be able to create a schedule with swappable shifts. With these additional features I see us being much more efficient and streamlined in time keeping. We will also have the capability of setting up a kiosk if so desired for quick clock-in/out access.
The backend setup and data transfer will take a little over a month, so you have some time to prepare. Once the UKG software is ready for release Synchrony will offer a training session in order to make the transition a bit smoother. However, from my demonstration you will find this new time keeping software much more in line with Exemplar and make for an easy transition.
